Discussing innovative solutions to speed up industrial deployment

The additive manufacturing (AM) industry is thriving, with end-users from a growing group of sectors that become more and more interested in the capabilities of AM technologies. The range of applications is expanding, and key developments in the segments of materials supply, machine development, software and AM services characterize the value chain. All in all, industrial production with additive manufacturing techniques is already a reality.

Organized on 21 September 2017 during EMO Hannover 2017, CECIMO’s “International Conference on Additive Manufacturing” aims to capture some of the most interesting advancements in this fast-evolving landscape. Industry leaders, high-level researchers and policy-makers will illustrate and discuss some of the latest solutions to accelerate AM deployment in the factory. The final panel debate with AM experts will address more in detail challenges and opportunities for scaling up industrial additive technologies. The conference will be promoted by the EU KRAKEN project, a forward-looking initiative focusing on the development of a hybrid, automated multi-material machine.
